Cheap airfare

I am in the US, and I am going to South Africa in 2011. However, I want to go when the airfare is the lowest. Any suggestions into what time of the year I should be checking for? I've checked several sites already, and noticed airfare higher and lower depending on my search. Not sure if that's because of the time of year, or because the flights are getting booked. HELP!

Flight schedules/fares aren't available before 330/331 days prior your expected date of travel.

South Africa is a big country, with varied seasons; when it's good for safari, it might not be for Capetown.

For a resource, check Premier Tours out of Phila, PA who has good fares (though similar/same as if direct with SAA). You can contact them at (which may show rates, but often aren't up-to-date) or better call their 800#, asking for the "air dept." You can also be put on their mailing list for the offers as they become available.
