What is the best cell phone for use in Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda? Should I rent or buy?? Thank you

I have a Moto quad band cell that just made the trip with me.

It is available for purchase w/dual voltage charger, Tz SIM card and about 15,000 Tzs of time still on the phone. The 15,000 will run out in about 25 days but the SIM will still be good.

This phone is about 18-24 months old and has been with me to Europe and Africa. It has worked well.

Used this at Arusha, Lake Manyara, Central Serengeti and Western Serengeti.

Need $60.00 by Paypal. If I can sell here, then do not have to put on eBay.

Also, a trip report will follow sometime this week.

Great weather but the Tsese flies appeared each day at 4:00.....:-(

Hopefully later this week. Have some advice on operators, guides/drivers, accommodations, cell phones, tipping, etc.
