Casablanca safety
 
We are spending 1 day in Casablanca next April. My son would like to visit the Hassan 11 Mosque. I thought it makes sense to stay nearby. Is this a safe area? Thanks.

The Hassan Mosque is well policed and thus safe to visit. We were happy to leave Casablanca as it was the least favorite place for us in Morocco.
You could visit the Hassan Mosque and then move on.

Happy Trvlr. Thanks for your response. We plan to arrive in Casablanca late in the afternoon and, see the mosque in the morning and leave for Marrakech

Marrakech is beautiful and very interesting. Enjoy your trip! We had the best breakfasts of local foods in Marrakech!
