Casablanca, Morocco

We'll be spending an entire day in Casablanca. Any ideas as to things to see as we don't want to miss anything?

We drove to Casablanca last year when we did a two week driving trip through Morocco. The mosque in Casablanca is beautiful and well worth a stop. The English tours are only at certain times so do check on that beforehand. This moque rivals the beauty inside and out of the Taj Mahal.Expect to spend a couple hours there.
Personally,Casablanca was our least favorite city in Morocco because of the traffic, concrete buildings,etc.-kinda felt like we were back home in Chicago?
Essaouria was our favorite city and is located south of Casablanca on the water-fabulous seafood, souks, riads to stay at,unbelievable prices for shopping compared to Marrakesh or Fez and beautiful beaches. Just south is where you would see the "goats in the trees".You will love Morocco and it wonderful history and people!
