caprivi strip - worth it ?

Starting to plan a trip to Namibia for a period of 2-3 weeks. Is it worth to go all the way to Caprivi strip and spend 3-4 days over there, incl. Vic. Falls, or is it too mach a hassle ?

I recall several posts on different regions mentioning "Dennis will be going there."

So where all is Dennis going? What is the itinerary?

Dennis is going to fly into JNB, then fly to Livingstone, drive across to Victoria Falls, overnight at Ilala Lodge, road/boat transfer for 2 nights at Ntwala Lodge, road transfer to Susuwe Lodge for 3 nights, fly to Kasane, drive to VFA, fly to Somalisa Camp in Hwange for 4 nights, fly back to VFA for overnight at Vic Falls Hotel, drive across to Livingstone, fly to JNB-LHR-SFO, 2 nights in Bay Area then back to Hilo.
(lynn~your Brazil trip sounds interesting...)

We spent 4 nights in the Caprivi strip in May 2005, staying at Impalila Island Lodge, and it was one of the highlights of our trip to Namibia.
