Capetown weather

Will be in CPT the end of March. Any idea what kind of weather to expect? When is the next big holiday in South Africa?

Hello,

The end of March should be lovely in Cape Town -- it's the South African autumn, and days should be very warm (high 70s low 80s) and clear with relatively warm nights as well.

Cheers,
Julian

Hello,

The 21st March is Human Rights Day, which is a big public holiday in SA.

Cheers,
Julian

1 March is a previously unscheduled public holiday, for the countrywide municipal (local gov.) elections.
There are also several holidays in April. The "Easter weekend" that includes Friday 14th and Monday 17th, and "Freedom Day" on 27 April. And because the latter is a Thursday, the authorities have bowed to the inevitable and made the Friday a school holiday. But not for workers, although many will take that as a vacation day, or call in sick!
