Capetown to Kruger - Need Advice

I hope to be visiting Capetown in March/April 2005 and would like to visit Kruger National Park for a few nights & return to Capetown for onward journey. Has anyone done this before ? Some advice on Flights & where to stay in Kruger would be really appreciated

Hi

There are direct flights between Cape Town and Kruger airports. I think it's to either Hoedspruit/Nelspruit or Phalaborwa - the north and south of the park respectively. It's best that you fly it - check out the SAA website www.flysaa.com for schedule info. Nationwide also do Cape Town/Kruger via JNB - their site is www.nationwideair.co.za.
Where to stay in Kruger? There is a huge range of choices, perhaps if you narrow it down a bit in terms of price and requirements? That would help to make recommendations.

Hi Traci thanks for the reply. I suppose if there are flights to Hoedspruit/Nelspruit, good accomodation for 600+ ZAR not to far from there in Kruger, with good tour guides that would be great. Any suggestions ?
