Capetown, Namibia, Botswana, Vic Falls Photos
Here is the link to my recent safari photos -finally. The first part is Capetown plus Namibia Landscapes and Wildlife. The second part is Botswana and Victoria Falls. It begins with the aerial views of Okavango Delta.
Some of the uploads appear to be blurry, but the pictures on my Canon website are very clear. I don't know what caused that. Anyway, I hope the link works. http://www.kodakgallery.com/I.jsp?c=...1&y=v1v2cj |
Can you set it up so that registration is not required, thanks.

Nice going! We stood in the same places on a few of your photos! Love all the ellies, especially the little ones, so cute. Love the sand dunes in Namibia. Looks like a great trip.
Thanks for sharing, really enjoyed them. |
Thanks, Carla. Glad you enjoyed them. We saw all those herds of elephants on the last day on the boat ride on the Chobe River. Those were the first babies we saw, and yes, they are so cute.
Napamatt, sorry about that. I thought I had set it up to not require registration. Here's a new link. Hope this one works http://www.kodakgallery.com/I.jsp?c=...&y=-evbqvu |
Panecott,
Seems like you reposted the first slide show with Namibia etc etc., i didnt see your pics from Botsw. IS it all in one? Hari |
There's two folders. The link is to the first, but you can get to folder #2 from folder #1 after you finish looking at folder #1. At least that's what I did. I really liked the shots in Namibia.

Thanks. Got to see it. Very nice pics, Joan.....may i ask, what camps did you stay at in Botswana?
Hari |
Joan,
I especially liked your pictures from your trip in Namibia. Best regards, Johan |
Thanks, everyone.
Hari, The camps in Botswana were Xigera, Lechwe, Savuti, and Linyanti on the Wilderness Safaris "Migration Routes". They are "adventurer" camps with dome tents and shared facilities. The tents have cots with mattresses and down comforters. Basic but very comfortable. |
Thanks, Joan. Sounds awesome....

Wow,what an amazing trip you had, panecott. It looks like you managed to see a bit of everything. I particularly loved your lovely scenery, vegatation, the precious bee eater and elephant interaction photos.
Looking at your wonderful photos is such a nice way to enjoy my tea break - thanks for sharing. Sherry |
Thanks for redoing the link. A very nice way to start the day.
|
Thanks for redoing the link. Marvelous photos: the scenery, the Elephants and your comments, like 'double vision'. Just perfect.
|
Wonderful pictures! Thanks!
|
Great pics, I commented a few but could easily have put a "wow" comment on over half of the pictures or more!!!
Liked everything but the various frogs particularly struck me - don't know why! All great though! |
Thanks, everyone, for your kind comments. It's interesting to hear what appeals to different people.
|
Kavey, I really enjoyed reading your comments. Thanx :-)

Joan:
Thank you for posting the pics - they're great! Do you have a trip report posted yet? We're thinking of Namibia, and I would love to read your thoughts. Thanks again! <font color="green">Cyn</font> |
Hi Cyn,
Yes, I posted a trip report in the past couple of weeks. It's probably back a few pages by now. I think it was "Back from Namibia, Botswana and Vic Falls". I highly recommend a trip to Namibia. It is truly one of the most beautiful places I've ever been to, with its diverse and spectacular landscapes. |
