Capetown,Kynsna, Tsitskikamma! Please recommend any accomodation here?

We are struggling on where to book. Tsitskikamma(2nights)- thought about village inn as it looks as if it might be lively and near the tree top tour. The fernery chalets sound lovely? Kynsna(3 nights)- The protea kynsna quays sounds fine and central, if anyone stayed there can they comment? Capetown- atlantic sea board, no idea where to stay?
Any other suggestions are welcomed, please!Maximum 1000 rand for two per night, may streach it for C/town on our last two nights.

Hello Islay,

In Cape Town, you could look into the following.

Avanti Guest House in Clifton. R750 per double room per night. www.avanti.co.za

Olafs Guest House in Sea Point. R430 per person sharing. www.olafs.co.za/

Craigownie Guest House in Bantry Bay. R1,254 for double room. www.craigrowniehse.co.za/

Les Cascades in Bantry Bay. R1,350 and up. http://www.lescascades.co.za/

Camps Bay Terrace. B&B Room is R990. Suite Apartment is R1,480. www.campsbayterrace.com/

Have not stayed at any of them myself. The info comes from previous posts of Cape Town resident Selwyn who himself is travelling at the moment and is checking into Fodors only occasionally.

Village isn't very large so don't know about lively but we enjoyed our stay at the Storms River Guest Lodge which was very handy for the Tree Tops tour.

To anyone who is visiting Kynsna, a lovely town - you must go and eat at 'Carmen's Corner'- a really friendly bistro, serving up delicious, well priced food. The owner's are friendly and charasmatic too - and the cocktails fabulous!
