Before our tour want to have a few nice lunches and dinners. What can you suggest?

First check out eatout.co.za - we managed to get dinner at Test Kitchen, which was world class. Lunch at the restaurant at Waterkloof winery was excellent and a lovely place to drive to for lunch and a bit of an explore. Dinner at Greenhouse at the Cellars-Hohenort hotel was another excellent meal. La Colombe was one of our very favourite dinner places, only surpassed by Test Kitchen. We also had dinner at Pot Luck Club, a small plates places, which was good and great fun but not in the same league as the four other places above. One other place we had great food was Chef's Warehouse at their City Bowl location, (not the one at Beau Constantia mentioned on the eatout list). Lunch at La Perla overlooking the sea at Sea Point was also lovely but more for the setting, the people watching and the lovely seats than the food, which was nice but not outstanding.

Agree in full about The Test Kitchen and La Colombe. Must book in advance for the former.
