Cape Town + GR Itinerary -- Feedback?

This is what I have worked out so far for Cape Town & the Garden Route. Does this seem like our time is well allotted? Thanks :-)

Cape Town -- 5 nights (4 days to sightsee -- we arrive late afternoon on first day)

Franschhoek -- 2 nights

Oudtshoorn -- 1 night

Knysna -- 2 nights

Port Elizabeth -- 1 night (staying one night before an early a.m. flight to V Falls)

Yip, that looks about right.

Thanks ~~ but you really shouldn't ramble on so much ;-)

If I were you I would leave out your Port Elizabeth stay and rather stay an extra day in Knysna exploring the region. To acommodate your flying to Vic Falls instead of flying from PE I would fly from George to Johannesburg and then onto Vic Falls.

Just my twopence worth because if I said more I am scared that I might be accused of rambling on. :) :)

Very proudly part of the wonderful ((r)) nation of South Africa

Thanks, but airfare has already been purchased from P Elizabeth.

I was having a bad day yesterday, sincerely though I believe that your allocation of time was appropriate.
I agree that staying in PE is a wise choice IF you are leaving early am from there. Frankly if you were to spend that night out of town it would probably make for seriously early rise.

Just ensure that you give yourself enough drive time from Knysna to PE, it is around four hours drive with plenty to see en-route.

My advice as ever would be to spend longer in Port Elizabeth and at least visit the Addo National Park. There is a big selection of big 5 Game Reserves less than an hour away.

I can never find much to do in Cape Town, it is very expensive.

Port Elizabeth has 3 blue flag beaches and great inexpensive restaurants.
