Canon 100-400, So. CA
This is a longshot, but would anyone in Southern California vaguely near Pasadena consider lending/renting their Canon 100-400 IS lens to me for October 19-November 24? I could trade you my 70-200 F4 IS for the duration.

No, he has the far superior Sigma lenses.

Sorry...don't have that lens, but there have been a couple of threads recently about people renting lenses. You might "google" lens rental and see what comes up. The fees I've seen have been really reasonable.

Anyone had experience with a specific company?

From what I've seen, the rental fee for the 35 days I need it is the same amount I'd lose buying a lens and reselling it after the trip. Hence looking for a private owner...
