Can US citizens book tours thru Canadian agency?

Is it possible for Americans to contact a Canadian tourist agency and book a trip to say, Egypt, and thereby pay lower costs for the trip? Someone suggested we do this, but I don't know if it's OK to do so--seems if it were allowed, US Citizens would all try this, given the exchange rate these days!

You can book through any agency that'll take your money or credit card! Caveats: do comparison shopping; make sure you're comparing apples to apples; investigate hidden charges (i.e., the flight leaves from Toronto and you live in San Diego and YOU pay to get to Toronto); if things go wrong, do you have recourse? how do you take a canadian company to small claims court?

Pennywise, pound foolish. When dealing with a 'foreign' company, don't assume anything will be like dealing with a U.S. firm...
