Make a quick, safe, trip to Cairo. We have HRC here too (3 in Egypt all together) and it's pretty cool to show off a T-shirt from here too.

But Beirut is pretty spectacular and I bet the beaches are beautiful this time of year!

The HRC represents everything that is NOT Beirut....this is why you travel? If Beirut is not safe it is certainly more due to the foreign policy of the First World than to anything of Lebanon itself. Do us a favor: Don't come here. Please.

Isn't HRC motto love all-serve all?...as an American,I'm sick and tired of our American culture being viewed as evil and bad.I never will understand why 3rd world nations can't live and let live.What are you afraid of? Why is the true reality of what life is really like,in Iran,Cuba,North Korea not openly discussed more?

I've never been to Lebanon but I've heard wonderful things about it. I will go someday and I will not fear for my safety, as I've already been to many other parts of the Middle East. But if your main interest is a HRC shirt, you might be able to order one on line. Just a thought in case the trip doesn't pan out. :-)
