We love camping in Botswana, but I am not certain I would describe it as "very cheap".

For Third bridge Campsite in the Moremi Game Reserve, we paid (in Oct 2011):
Entry fee per person/24 hours = 120 pula
Entry fee per vehicle/24 hours = 50 pula
Campsite fee per person/24 hours = 226 pula
Total for 1 night camping for 2 people = 742 pula = ~USD100

Savuti campsite in Chobe National Park was even more expensive - we paid ~US$140 for two people/night

Camping may be cheaper than staying in lodges, but I would not describe US$700 to US$980 for a week of camping as "very cheap!" - worth every penny IMHO, but not cheap! CR
