Camp provided toiletries
We are staying @ Tortillis, Saruni Samburu, Il Moran and Little Naibor in Dec, 08. Do these camps typically provide the basics...shampoo, conditioner, soap, or should we take?
Hoping to carry on luggage from Tampa and a quart ziplock is small for 13 days!
Any packing suggestions for liquids would be appreciated. Thanks.

I can only comment on Tortilis; as I remmmeber they provided soap and shampoo (or maybe a combo shampoo/shower gel). The latter was in a china dispenser with pump, which was a bit precarious to balance in the shower stall.

Saruni Samburu had shampoo and soap, can't remember about conditioner. I think they had shower gel as well.
As that's often the case I took a small bar of solid shampoo in a tin, just in case (which we seldom had to use) and a bottle of conditioner. I didn't bother with shower gel or liquid shampoo or soap.

All are hi-end camps. Soap, definitely; shampoo, definitely; conditioner, probably; body lotion, likely.
Unless you wash your hair daily, even a small 3-oz bottles of shampoo or conditioner should last for a 2/week trip. And, short hair helps.
I bring my own, and though provided, rarely use camp toiletries (prefer my own); my visits are often closer to 3/weeks.
As you're trying to pack everything for carryon, consider doubling in quart-size ziplock bags* - one zipped on the top, the other on the bottom and wrap in a t-shirt which if items spill can easily be laundered. Or if your luggage has an outside zipped pocket, place these items here and use cable-tie to secure.
*FYI - On my recent visit, at no airport (US, Europe or Africa) was I asked to show this 1/qt ziplock... strange, but true.

Hi Denis and welcome back.
Yes, wash cloths. Most of the lux properties provide these, but I always take a few, just in case. The inexpensive ones that can find at Target, BB&B - packs of 12/$5 - you can leave behind.
And, as loru mentions, besides the expected toiletries, some camps provide extras: - cotton balls, q-tips, emory board, razor, toothbrush and paste, etc.
