Business and social etiquette in SA

Hi!

I was wondering if anyone had any insights into the differences in business etiquette and practices between North America and South Africa. Insight into differences in social etiquette, and advice for women working in South Africa on business would also be welcome! Alternatively, does anyone know of any resources with information on these topics (i.e. websites)?

Thanks for your help!

ps - I need this info within a few days for it to be useful! Sorry!

I have not worked in the business world per se, but lived in SA for a long time. It was at that time 1st world very influenced obviously by British ways and also exposed to American culture. I don't think there are any special customs you need to know as opposed to going to eg Japan. Being from Canada I don't think you should have concerns. Take care there!!
