bushmanskloof/cederberg

I haven't found much info on this forum about Bushmanskloof. Having grown up in Cape Town I spent many holidays in the Cederberg Mountains but not in luxurious accomodations like Bushmanskloof. I hope to try Bushmanskloof later this year and wonder if anyone has been there recently.

I can highly recommend the following accomodation in the Cederberg

especially the cottage called Rietdak. It is an amazing wilderness area 2/3 hours north of Cape Town and well worth the drive. A very good alternative to the winelands route if you are looking for something different. And if wine is your thing you can even visit Cederberg Wines

And there are leopards...cape mountain leopards. You would be very lucky to see one but I have seen footprints many times!

As I am sitting here writing this I can hear helicopters overhead...they're stil trying to put out the fire on Table Mountain. It really does look like a wasteland.
