suzic,

If you did a report, could you put in the link?

To return on the exact same trip but in a different season says a lot about your enjoyment of it! Was it the Call of the Wild itinerary?

You are right that excellent guiding is important when you are walking, tracking rhino, and canoeing.

Yes, it was the "Call of the Wild" itinerary. The trip was more than I could have asked for!! (and I thought my expectations were pretty high). Our Botswana Guide was Dave Carson, (the other possibility was Rocco's favorite Nic Polenakis). Dave was great, we went offroad wherever possible, sightings were wonderful, and we spent as long as we wanted at each sighting. I found it interesting that the camp guides were stopping by the sightings for about 2-5 minutes, then off to the "next check off on the list"- sad as far as I am concerned. About ten minutes off the plane into Moremi (first stop) we located a mal,e leopard. We got to spend four hours with him- I swear he posed for us throughout!!! Well, we missed "tea time" altogether, and were late for dinner (which was a daily occurrence)!! I am not at all complaining- in fact it was wonderful!! (well okay the hostess/cook didn't think so-LOL). Also there were only three of us on the trip, which was quite personalized!! Suzi
