Julian I'm at Duma Tau June 25th to 28th. If you are there on the 27th just look for a redhead with a Canadian accent, eh!

Hi Raelond,

I've actually booked into Selinda instead, so I'm afraid I won't see you, though there's always the chance we will cross paths while I'm at Savuti.

Cheers,
Julian

Julian,

Itinerary looks great....looking forward to ur trip report.....i will be at the Kwando camps in August and i guess, before then, we will have a good idea about where the dogs are this particular year......

Would you be able to enquire as to what the sightings are in the Kwando areas thru the Selinda guides??? Appreciate any feedback.

Rgds
Hari

Julian, I also did not realize the 'venture' was a partnership. I offer my best wishes, and I also wish you guys had gotten it together last fall when I was making my plans!

napamatt, I'll be at Savuti June 18-21, will you by any chance be there?

Hi Hari,

Unfortunately I can't leave earlier due to commitments in England, so four days was all I could manage. It's not ideal, but it's better than not seeing Kwando at all, and I'm meeting Canechick at Savuti so I didn't want to lose any time there. I guess it just means I'll have to come back!

Cheers,
Julian

Julian,

Trust me.......once you go to Kwando....especially Lebala, you are going to be hooked........

I am returning there in August, like i mentioned.....it is going to be a longer than expected trip....especially with this fun little add on at Phinda....

My husband and I will be at Savuti 6/26,6/27/6/28 and Mombo from 7/1, 7/2/7/3. This is our first safari and we are anxiously looking forward to it.
It will be nice to meet up with you an expert at our first camp. Savuti will be our first camp after visiting Cape Town and Vicotoria Falls.

Hi Elz,

It sounds like we'll have quite a bit of overlap at Savuti and Mombo. Are you staying at Little Mombo or the main Mombo camp? I'm staying at the main Mombo camp.

Cheers,
Julian

Hello Elz,

Great to hear -- so we'll definitely see one another then. We might even share a vehicle...

Cheers,
Julian
