Black Clothing
 

My understanding is that blue colors attract the teste bugs. Is this true of black, too? I have a black fleece jacket but am wondering if I need a tan jacket. How about dark green? Thanks. Betty

For August in Kenya, black or dark green should be fine. I have not seen tse tse flies in Kenya in August.

I'm going to be at Kwando in August. Early morning drives are going to be really cold. I have a black thick winter jacket (bubble kind)......that's what i intend using. I think it should be ok......
