Best non-malarial game reserves/lodges

What are the best non-malarial game reserves/parks in terms of geography, topography, climate and, most importantly, animal viewing?

What are the nicest lodges within those reserves/parks in terms of accommodations, food, service, guides, location, size (smaller the better), etc.?

Finally, for those who have stayed in higher end lodges both in or around Kruger and in the non-malarial risk areas, how do they compare? In other words, what if anything does one have to sacrifice by staying in a non-malarial risk area?

Thanks.

My vote in South Africa is for Kwandwe. It is north of Port Elizabeth. 1st class and malaria free.

Kwandwe is awesome, but there are many other options that you could combine with Kwandwe. There is Rhulani or Etali or Jacis in madikwe, or Makweti in the waterberg is also very very good. For and awesome South Africa experiance combine Ants nest and Jacis it is mind blowing
