Barginning in Morocco

My wife and I will be departing for an exciting two weeks in Morocco shortly and something I am interested in is bringing goods from America that may be of interest to Moroccon merchants, so that I may barter for goods rather than simply pay for them. Does anyone know if there is any particularly "hot" item that a merchant would be interested in, or am I wasting my time and should just stick to currency? Any feedback will be appreciated, thank you!

I would stick to the money. We attempted to use some American goods (T shirts and gadgets) but did not have much luck. I think they read the same guide books that I did that suggested bartering. Morocco is an amazing place. I'm sure you will enjoy your trip. feel free to E-mail me if you need additional info.
