bank transfer for deposit @ riad?

I am trying to make a reservation at a riad in Marrakech for the end of Nov. and they will only take a deposit in the form of a bank transfer to their account in Paris. They won't accept any credit cards. Has anyone had to deal with this? Its a well established riad written up in several tour books, but I am just more comfortable dealing with the protection of credit cards.

Its a great riad at a great price, should I just go with the flow? or find another place to stay?

I suggest you book with other riad. I recently booked three riads (in three different cities). They all accept credit cards. If you don't feel comfortable, go with the ones that accept cards. There should be plenty of charming riads to choose from for the period of end of November.

I booked a stay at Riad Azzar, in the Medina, through House of Wonders(out of Italy). They accept credit cards.
