Balloon Crash in Mara, Two Dead

Thanks for the link... wonder what the cause of the accident was...
I wouldn't panic too much though - I bet statistics would show that hot air ballooning is far safer than driving on the streets of your own home town, than flying internationally, than all kinds of other things we all do without thinking twice.

We're still going on our Mara balloon ride! A little twinge there when I first read this as, but really Kavey is right!
This is also what I tell myself too everytime a small plane crashes here, as my son is a commercial pilot just starting out. It did hit home though when it happened twice in his company -once in May and then again at Christmas - 4 young pilots dead. (the company voluntarily gave up its operating liscence the day after the one at Christmas) And here I was telling my son the other day maybe he should think about being a balloon pilot in Africa!
