Show her how to use a search engine to find things--If you use google (www.google.com) you can click on advanced search. There, you can put in keywords like Morocco or the name of a city and specify that the results are pictures, not just any website that has those words.
You can do this on most search websites--look for a detailed search or advanced search screen.

Also, tell her that when you're looking for information, sometimes the best thing to do is think of WHO might have the information. Rather than just type in "Morocco" in the AOL search or Yahoo, have her look for a website from the Moroccan government or the Morocco tourist board. You know those will be filled with pictures

Explaining these kinds of "tricks" can help her in all sorts of school projcets that she's likely to have in the years to come.

Thanks for your suggestions, esp offer of digital photos. We have done the Google thing, but I really like the idea of trying to think "who" has photos.

That said, we got a bunch of stuff on-line, had fun finding it together (no, I did not do her homework for her - I have already done 6th grade and do not wish to do it again). As it turns out, Grandma was in Morocco several years ago and had photos - she goes so many places we forgot! Thanks again.
