Bahai Temple

Is a day trip from Jerusalem to the Bahai Temple in Haifa (1) doable and (2) worth while?

It would be a fairly long trip from Jerusalem, but Haifa is a gorgeous city, and the Baha'i shrine and gardens are absolutely magnificent. Definitely worth a visit. You might even stay a night in Haifa, which is one of my favorite cities. I'd recommend the Dan Gardens Haifa hotel, reasonably priced with a magnificent view.

I did once a day tour from Haifa to Jrusalem. We left 7:30 am and came back at 7;30 pm. We did the Old City and Bethlehem. There is much more to see i Jerusalem than in haifa, so I would guess doing the opposite is no problem.

The town of Haifa is quite lovely and on it's own merits deserves at least a day or two. The old town and harbor is very interesting.
