Back from Four Seasons Hotel Cairo

The Four Seasons Cairo is decorated in the generic luxurious style of all Four Seasons hotels: wood panelling, mirrors, crystal, marble and mostly copies of antique furniture and decorations of different periods. One could be anywhere in the world, only the engravings and prints on the wall showing Egyptian scenes are a reminder where you are. Service is good and the open air pool is nice, as are the flower arrangements. Breakfast has some Egyptian food, too. Poolside and hotel restaurant "Seasons" are okay. The location is a bit off, nothing is in walking distance. The Hotel is connected to a mall, where "La Gourmandise" can be found, an excellent French pastry store.

Thanks for the information. Will be there for Christmas and I was wondering which is better, the Nile(partial) view or the garden view?

the building complex consists of two towers, both are parallel to the nile and the second is exactly behind the first. the building closest to the nile is for private apartments, the next building is the hotel. between the two is the pool area. i presume partial nile view is better, but you can always ask for a pyramid view upgrade, maybe you are lucky...
