Attention napamatt..Videocamera

Hi Matt.

Which camcorder accessories did you get?

I am not sure if they will allow the following carry case on the charter flights.

Type: Professional aluminum Handycam® carrying case

Material: Aluminum

Color: Silver

Dimensions (Approx): 370 x 525 x 245mm

Weight (Approx) : 6.4 Kg

These accessories are emptying my bank account!!

I just have a soft sided camera bag that my wife no longer needs thanks to the purchase of a back pack. In terms of accessories all I have bought so far are some batteries and a charger.

As to the case, I would check with your agent. You could probbaly consider it hand luggage and have it on your lap.

What charter flights are you taking?

On those charter flights you would need to carry the bag on your lap. Most are only twenty to thirty minutes. Also Wilderness are mainly using Caravan's which will usually have a couple of spare seats. Again though check with your agent. When they see an aluminium case they may want to weigh it, so you'll have to be careful about weight.
