Yellow Fewer Vaccination for Kenya and Zimbabwe

From what I understand, it is not required if "not arriving from infected area within 5 days". I will be flying to Nairobi and to Victoria Falls from Johannesburg.<BR>Those of you who recently went, were you asked for the vaccination certificate at immigration?

I was in Kenya this past April, and was not asked to show a vaccination for Yellow fever. But I do not know about Zimbabwe. Go to the embassy sight for that country.

I have been coming and going to Zim for years and have never been asked for a yellow fever certificate...in fact West Africa is the only place I've been asked for one. But...it's always good to check with the embassy.

I was told that they would be checking for Yellow Fever in Tanzania, but that has changed, and they do not ask. However, a shot lasts for 10 years, and I would be more concerned that I was safe, than whether it was needed to get in a country.
