Arriving in Israel on Saturday -- Will We be able to change $ in the airport?
 

Just realized I had not thought about this. We'll need $ to get into Tel Aviv. Will there be ATMs operating in the airport on Shabbat?

Should be, but in any case you can pay your taxi with US$ equally well as NIS.

Worst comes to worst, your hotel will change them for you when you arrive.

you will arrive at a beautiful modern airport. head straight to atm for cash and then taxi to hotel. no problem with saturday arrival for that.

Don't worry about currency. If you have to, pay in $$. The exchange rate is not bad!

Going home, I ran out of Shekalim and didn't want to withdraw, so asked to quote the ride in dollars. No problem. $25.
