April or May for Kruger

Can anyone tell me if we would experience a huge difference in the weather, visiting the Kruger area of South Africa , from April or May? We are looking at going to Pretoria, Drakensberg, St Lucia, Isimangaliso Wetlands, Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park, Pongola Game reserve, Mbabane, Kruger,
Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Rob

It is warmer and wetter in April - particularly in the south and central areas. The grass is lush and this can obscure sightings. A high vehicle and AC will solve this. By mid-May, the area is drying a bit, with temps dropping.

As Ian has stated, May is a bit cooler and it is generally starting to dry out. You should be good in either month though, especially as lion activity is notably prevalent during both these months.
