April 2-13 Suggestions for Tanzania safari

I would really appreciate a critic of my itinerary. I've been told that Tangire is not good in April. Most of our time is in the Serengeti since we were advised that the herds will most likely be in eastern or central part of the park.

Day 1 Arusha Nat'l Pk (Impala)
day 2 Ilkidinga (Kirirumu)
day 3 Lake Manyara (Kirirumu)
day 4-5 Ngorongoro (Ngor. Sopa)
day 6-10 Serengeti (Ndutu and Sere. Sopa)
day 11 fly back to Arusha

If it rains come in April, you'll likely find high grasses everywhere, except the areas where the wildies have eaten the grasses down.

But if it does rain, everything will be green which will be nice and much needed for animals and humans.

Hi linbob,
I agree with sandi about the grasses being lower in areas where there is the migration, but I would still like to add 2 days at central serengeti....if I were u. Central serengeti is just too good at any time of the year.. as it has lots of resident wildlife and predators aglore, Sonali.
