Amman to Dana
 

Hi there,

We are planning to travel from Amman to Dana Nature Reserve in two days.

The first day we are planning to get the 9am bus to the Dead Sea (7 JD), and then a taxi/hitching to Madaba (28JD).

The second day we thought the best thing to do in order to see what we want to is splash out for taxi to take us from Madaba to Wadi Mujib to Karak Castle and on to Dana (72 JD). I don't think there's an alternative to this?

My questions are -

How long would you spend and where at the Dead?
How long do you think we need to explore Madaba and would you see this on day 1 or day 2?
I am keen to get some good photos of Wadi Mujib. Will this be possible if we are just stopping there by taxi?
Karak Castle - is this worth a stop? I'm imagining we won't need a huge amount of time here?
What would be the best time to arrive in Dana? Again I assume we will just relax here and not do any walks on that same day!
