Amex "Departures" magazine - Article on the Serengeti/Migration/Camps

Great article in the current issue of the Amex "Departures" magazine.

Interesting comments by author about getting back to the "real Africa" away from the lux lodges with plunge pools in Southern Africa... though some in East Africa aren't far behind. Camping (permanent or semi- or mobile) he feels is the best.

I also came across this article yesterday while I read my Departures magazine at my desk yesterday. Sure beats working.

It was a very nice article and it does have me itching for a trip to East Africa in the next year or two.

East Africa is waiting for you, or not!!!
