Hi Dave,
I tried to do the search, but apparently the pages are for subscribers only. Could you post a link here?
Cheers,
Julian

Hi Dave,
The story about the 'multi-pronged disaster' (floods and animals affecting crops in the Caprivi strip) made me feel quite torn, as the animals described as being from 'game-rich Botswana' are probably from the Linyanti/Chobe area, which I really enjoyed visiting last year and look forward to visiting again this year. As much as I support conservation and enjoy seeing the animals, I have a lot of sympathy for the villagers as well.
Cheers,
Julian

Dave/julian,
When i was at Lagoon camp last year, Jonah from Lagoon did mention farmers in the caprivi strip hunting down big game that moves into the caprivi strip....
Even members of the legendary Lagoon pride (You've seen them in the mad mike and mark show) were shot down in the caprivi strip. The pride is only 6-7 now and rarely ventures back into the caprivi strip.....
