All Season Safaris

Has anyone ever used this safari company? Their website looks great, and the price is really good. I would just feel more comfortable if I know someone else has used them and has had a good experience.

Never heard of them, but I would do a lot more research than posting on this board.

Just look at the Rocco thread, if you need convincing.

Where else would you suggest that I do research to find out if a company is legitimate and if they have a good reputation?

Where do you want to go and when? This is the place to find out the answers.

First, the fact that no one on this board has commented on them is a big warning sign.

But, with or without recs from the experts here, I'd contact some of the lodges listed on their website and ask if they are reputable, how many safaris they book with them a year, have they had any problems working with them, etc.

If they were in the States, you could check with the better business bureau. In certain municipalities, you can search online records for lawsuits against them (e.g. customers taking them to small claims court) or ask a friend with free access to D&B to run a report.

If you do decide to book with them, I'd make sure to use a credit card to make the deposit and final payments in order to give yourself some. While not all reputable firms choose to take credit cards, it can be an indicator that a company does not have good credit.

If you have doubts on them, ask them to give you the contacts of some of the people who has done safaris with them, maybe you can contact them and ask every question you would like to know. And after they book you in hotels/lodges ask for the contacts and reference.

All Seasons Safaris has very nice website and the testimonials are good hoping it is a genuine company. Have never done a safari with them or any other tour company in Kenya, I am here on research, Planing on a 14 nights safari maybe late this year or early next year.Am not sure who to book with, but will know with time. As Lynepas has mentioned, ask the tour operator to give you contacts for those who have travelled with them, (i know this is too much to ask, but be certain). maybe with that you can be sure of them before sending them any deposit.
