Al Iwan Restaurant at the Burj Al Arab?

Have the opportunity to have lunch or dinner at Al Iwan as part of a meeting I am attending. We are not staying at the hotel. The price is:

Cost USD 175,- per person
Cost includes:
- Return Transfers
- Dinner in Al Iwan Restaurant ( Buffet menu not including drinks )

this is a 'must see' place, we will also arrange a short tour of one of the guest suites before or after your meal ( subject to hotel occupancy and availability )

Do you think it is worth it.?

Personally, I'd go for it. I've always been fascinated by the Burj - we looked into staying there once years ago, when the summer rates were at their "lowest", but couldn't bring ourseves to fork out that kind of money for a hotel stay.

Last I heard, tours of the hotel alone go for about $150, so $175 for the meal and a short tour doesn't sound too insane.

It's the type of thing you'd probably only do once, so why not?
