African Spectacular Vic Falls

Has anyone ever done the African Village Spectacular in Victoria Falls . . . tribal dancing and the like? Is it worth buying a visa to go over to Zimbabwe to see it (we're staying on the Zambian side)? We're a group of 12, ages 15 to 55. Thanks very much!

If the visa is about $60/person, then I would probably not go for just the show. For $60 x 12 = $720 you might be able to get your own private show where you are staying. If there are less expensive short visit visas, then I'd consider it.

But if $720 was an amount that you would drop for an evening out without much thought, then I probably would go. You're only there once. It was a very cool show and you could take flash pictures. That fact could be an incentive or a deterrent to you.

Visa Fees for Single / Double / Multiple is US$ 135.00 per person for US Citizens to cross from Zambia to Zimbabwe or Zimbabwe to Zambia. This could work out rather costly.

redbush, as they will be staying in Zam, they already paid the $135 multiple entry visa so they would only have to pay the Zim visa as Lynn said above your post. Still costly for a night out!

Thanks all. I think just the few of us who really want to see it will go then.
