I counted 7 lion. When the rhino finished drinking he walked slowly into the lidst of the pride as if to say, "So who's king of the jungle now?" Then there was a magnificent shooting star in the sky.

Carla, I don't think the lioness could get around the waterhole fast enough to catch the duiker. The pride has returned to the waterhole, now.
I have to keep my computer on "mute" while everyone else is around, so I'm missing all the sounds. On the weekends I work, however, I love to have the sounds of the African night surrounding me.

Hyena calling and lots of lions laying around!

ShayTay, there were 2 other lions in the background near the duiker that had an easy shot. I knew the one in the foreground was too far away though. This is soooo exciting!
