Advice re: Rhino Africa Safaris
I'm planning a trip to South Africa/Zambia/Botswana. Does anyone have any experience with Rhino Africa Safaris they could share with me?
Thanks very much, |
I have a South Africa customized itinerary planned with them for Sept. We have not used them before. I have been very happy with Gillian our representative. I contacted them in March then decided to wait until next year. I had been talking with a few TAs to make our decision. When I emailed them all that we were waiting until next year, Gillina at Rhino Safaris was the only one to understand and replay that she would keep our info. for next year. When we changed our minds and decided to go this year, I emailed her. Her response was immediate and she knew exactly who I was. I get immediate response to my many questions and indecision. She's been great. I expect my trip will be as well. Hope you have success, too. Good luck.

I have not used them but check out this report. The non-volunteer part was with Rhino Africa (I'm thinking that's Rhino Safaris.)

I have used Rhino Africa in 2009, 2010 and 2011.
2009 was to Zambia, 2010 to South Africa and 2011 was a return to Zambia. Excellent logistics and service and the prices were better that I could get direct. I usually know the exact camps/hotels I wish to use but Rhino Africa will suggest others if they have no indepth knowledge of the operations. If you are using them in Cape Town they have an operation for local tours called Rhino Tripping. The coolest black vans; think rock star!! Enjoy your trip Elaine |
