Advice: Kili and Safari Itin

Hi,
5 friends and I are going to Tanznia in July and are wondering if anyone has any comments on the following, where quite advanturous and experienced climbers:

1. Planning on using ATR http://www.africatravelresource.com/ as a tour operator. Does anyone have any experience with them?

Here is the initial plan
Fly from LHR to JRO on Ethiopian Air via 5hr stopover in Addis Ababa, this was cheapest fare found arround $908.

In Arusha:
2 nights Moivaro Coffee Plantation
1 night Kibo Hotel
5 night climb via Rongi route other option is Shira, any opinions?
1 night Moivaro Coffee Plantation

camping Safari:
day 1 & 2 Tarangiri: stay at Mawe Ninga
day 3 & 4 South Serengti and Olduvai region
Leave via Nogorongoro Crater

Any suggestions are much appreciated,

-Ali

Hi

I climbed Kili in September 2003. I have posted an extensive trip report with pictures on my personal homepage www.gardkarlsen.com Maybe you can find some useful information there.

alialami: It looks good, but sounds like you have not yet finalized your plans. I would highly recommend that you get things settled as soon as possible since July is one of the most popular/busy times for Kili, Tarangire, the Serengeti and the Crater areas. By the way, we stayed at Moivaro Coffee Plantation during our overnight in Arusha. The rooms are comfortable and if you are chilled, make sure you request a fire in the fireplace. The chickens on the surrounding plantation will make sure you are up nice and early, so don't worry about setting your watch alarms! Safe climbing and have a wonderful safari.
