Adventures in Travel Expo--Chicago Jan 26 & 27
 

I am going to go and plan to be there both days. If you are going, it would be fun to meet. If there is enough interest, it could morph into an actual GTG.

I'd love to go but traveling to Chicago that time of year can be it's own form of "adventure travel." I live in Grand Rapids Mich and driving along the edge of Lake Michigan and around the southern end hits the snow belt at the worst time of year. I can't tell you how many times I've been stranded in Benton Harbor in winter over the years. At one point I thought maybe I should just move there since I seemed to be spending so much time there!
If I come it would have to be a last minute decision based on weather and if I can find someone to house/pet/kid sit.

I'd enjoy a Chicago GTG but we're leaving for India on January 26th. Maybe we can plan all plan a GTG when warmer weather sets in?

Or maybe I could change my plans to go to India instead of Chicago!

Ofcourse, there's my two favourites too ........ the Dhole (wild dog) and the Gaur (largest wild cattle). Sound convincing enough?

I'll be taking a bus to O'Hare Airport, then a hotel shuttle to the Expo. I suppose I could just board a plane to India from O'Hare instead of heading to the travel show, since I'm at the airport anyway!
