Has anyone taken a safari with A&K? Wondering what your experience was and if the rather hefty price tag was worth it?

I have not traveled with them, but I can promise you that you can do a bespoke safari for just you far cheaper and in smaller more personal camps rather than some of the larger permanent structures they lean toward. There are several safari planners who really know what they're doing, have good relationships with camps all over Africa and can put together something well within your established budget. I have personally worked with and would recommend: Access2Tanzania, Treks2Rwanda, The Wild Source, Africa Travel Resource and Expert Africa (last two I had to cancel due to the pandemic but planning with them was wonderful). I'd work with any of them again in a heartbeat.
