5 Hour Layover in Dubai
My friend and I will be returning from a safari in Kenya, we have a 5 hour layover in Dubai. We would like to leave the airport and see some of the sites, limiting ourselves to 3 hours to be safe. Can anyone recommend what we should see given our short time frame? I have been on Viator and they have tours etc. Has anyone done a short tour, we will be arriving in Dubai at 5:00 am on a Saturday morning. Thank you for any advice!

Between immigration on arrival, depositing your carryons at Left Luggage, retrieving them when you return (unless you plan on lugging your carry ons) and security on your return you sure better allow more than 2 hours for 'formalities'. With a 5 hour layover the most you'd have free outside the airport is about an hour.
PLUS you land very early in the AM . . . I'd just plan on using an airport lounge.

Yes its too early and not enough time to see much really. Too bad.
Maybe you can find something of interest in the airport.

If you are going to stay in Dubai Airport for less than 6 hours then I would suggest going to Zen Garden. A perfect place for kids and all age group. https://www.citytourindubai.com/top-...uring-layover/ Here you can find the other activities to do in Dubai airport.
