4 months to go..here are our plans
 

The excitement is building for our first trip to Africa. This is the trip as planned. I hope I didn't pack to much in for a first timer.

Uganda
I'll spend 6 days here with a trip to Ngamba island and Murchinson falls.

Kenya
I'll spend two days to tour Nairobi and visit the Sheldrick orphanage. I foster Shimba and Dida as well as the rhino Maxwell.
Then it' off to the Masai Mara for 4 days.

Tanzania
My sister and husband will join me for this leg of the trip. We'll spend 2 weeks visiting the usual spots in Tanzania.

Rwanda
We'll do 2 gorilla treks and one golden monkey trek. We will be in Rwanda a total of 7 days

Zanzibar
We'll spend our last 5 days in Zanzibar before returning home to the USA!

Whew!

I think you should add on an ascent of Mount Kenya, and maybe pop down to Zambia - you're so close after all! And what about visiting the released Sheldrick orphans in Tsavo?

That's quite a first trip to Africa you've ended up with. It seems to have grown a bit too?

You should post your full itinerary - quite a few people will be visiting those countries at the same time, and I'm sure we'd all like to have a wee peek at the crazy person. ;-)

Don't take a word seriously... and have a great time. I think we're taking care of most of the parks you are not visiting at around the same time!

LOL! Yes it did grow quite a bit. My sister did want to climb Kili but I said maybe next time.

I wanted to do Mahale but again...maybe next time.

I can't wait.
