Visitor Visa Stamp

I have heard that immigration officers on Israel airports stamp the visitor visa on separate piece of paper instade of stamping it on passport,if requested. Is this true? Anyone has done this ?

We had no problem having our Visa stamped on a slip of paper. Just smile, ask, and say "please". An alternative is having two passports, but that's another story.

Can have a separate piece of paper stamped. Just be prepared to answer the question of "why do you not want your passport stamped?"
