Cinque Terre

Any ideas on a place to stay In Cinque Terre? My husband and I are hoping to stay in Vernazza or Manarola for at least two nights.

We loved our stay at La Torretta in Manarola...very peaceful. Ask for the room with the small patio overlooking the town. Manarola is definitely quite a bit quieter than Vernazza so it depends if that is what you are looking for. We enjoyed our evenings for dinner there.
cheers,
CC

We stay at Gianni Franzi in Vernazza. http://www.giannifranzi.it/ Basic clean rooms and a good price. There are a bunch of steps but the whole area has lots of steps.

Another vote for La Torretta. I loved my room, which had a view down the valley to the sea. As I recall, it's a way up the hill, so keep that in mind.

Is La Torretta worth the price? My husband and I are going to Italy for our first anniversary and trying to stay under 100/night.
