Road Conditons due to Winter Storms?

Leaving Indy on Sunday (very early a.m.) & taking I65 south thru Ky, Tn - switch to I24 at Nashville & I75 at Chattanooga - & then thru Atlanta to Florida.

Any feedback on current road conditions problems due to the winter storms?

Any feedback regarding any pre-Monday forecasts for new winter storm or bad road conditions caused by weather?

Thanks, Julie

If the weather looks OK tomorrow, I'll be making the Nashville-Atlanta drive myself. I'll report back either way, but if you're driving the whole thing Sunday, my guess is that there won't be any problems (at least in Tennessee - not sure about north of us). Sunday is supposed to be sunny and 48 in Nashville, and Georgia will be warmer than that. Tennessee and most of Kentucky got basically nothing but wind and rain from this last storm, so no worries there.

Tennessee's next snow chance, after tomorrow night, will be Monday, and it could be a (relatively) significant one. I'd get as far south as you can on Sunday.

Tonight's weather (Friday) predicts 1 to 2 inches in Louisville by tomorrow and possibly a little more to follow. Less is expected the further south you go in KY. I-65 gets cleared pretty quickly.

I drove to Atlanta today with zero issues from winter weather. They're saying snow may start in Nashville Sunday night, but you should be well past us by then. I think you'll be fine.

its fine here today and tomorrow---can check *511 for road conditions in Ga on your cell--also check georgia-navigator.com on line as well for real time road conditions for the whole state. We drove to Fl a month ago and got into some road work on 75 just south of Tifton--dropped 2 lanes--we we took 41 south for 20 miles rather than stay on 75
