Tanzania, Safari, looking for group for December...

I am a single traveller looking for any interested party that would like to book a safari with me... as it turns out that most safari companies require bookings of two or more people. Blast! Otherwise it's quite expensive for exclusive tours. I'm not made of money!

Anyway, I am looking to travel around 27 December, and have found a very modestly priced, 11 day safari that covers many of northern Tanzania's finest. Let me know!

Can't comment on a travel companion, but why not at least provide a link or details of the itinerary you are considering along with price... if someone is interested they'll have info on which to make a decision.

Most of the time if you want to travel and have no campanion , i suggest you just go camping any outfitter outthere can assist with joiners while going camping and also the price difference for going it alone through camping is abit doable

Single supplements dont look too bad for private Safaris, but I know there are TAs that arrange group trips and Tripadvisor will time to time have people inquiring about companions.

Very amusing, Tom; no, I don't snore... at least not that I'm aware. Doesn't everyone claim that they don't snore?

The safari that I am looking at includes Arusha National Park, Lake Manyara, Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, Ndutu and Tarangire National Park, and is 11 days with an afternoon drive on the first day and a morning drive on the last. The price is roughly USD1,600.

You can contact me at [email protected] if interested.

$1,600 for 11/days comes to $145/day. Which accommodations are they using?

Why do I ask? Because of that $145/day, an average of $50 goes to daily park fees; daily fee for guide/vehicle which depending on how many in the group (assuming max of 6/paxs) is about $30-35; remaining $60 doesn't leave much for room/tent, especially not over Christmas/New Year's which is peak season. And a day tour at Arusha NP is at least $100/person... half-day isn't much less.

Yes camping. I am as sure that I heard the numbers right as much as I am sure that the gentleman that confirmed the numbers was. And this was confirmed for a minimum of two people, hence the inquiry in to a travel partner or group.
